This letter can be used to respond to a letter you’ve received that needs acknowledging and where the sender would expect a reply detailing what steps you’ll be taking following their letter. (Bold text is explanation and should be removed from the finalized version of the letter, while blanks _____ should have information added by you, to personalize the letter.)

The third of the free business letter templates is a cover letter. This would generally be sent along with your C.V. or resume when applying for a job.
